"The Eyes of Thailand" http://eyesofthailand.com tells the true story of one woman's quest to help two elephant landmine survivors--Motala and Baby Mosha--walk again. Treating their wounds was only part of the journey; building the world's first elephant prostheses was another.

Directed and produced by Windy Borman, produced by Tim VandeSteeg, and narrated by Ashley Judd, the 10-time award-winning documentary shows how far Soraida Salwala will go to save Asian elephants from threats above and below the surface.

In this excerpt, FAE Founder Soraida Salwala and Dr. Therdchai Jivacite treat Motala, an elephant landmine survivor who arrived the Friends of the Asian Elephant (FAE) Hospital in 1999.
